Are community participation in decision-making at the local and regional levels, promotion of tools for interaction with local authorities and combating GBV related?
It may seem a bit different, but this was the issue that was discussed during the information session on raising awareness about GBV in Apostolove. These categories are united by one thing - the protection of the rights and freedoms of citizens, and therefore they are elements of a puzzle called “country” that each of us builds.
Together with the participants, we also recalled stereotypes, learned how to counteract victimization, tried to identify cases of violence, and analyzed how the state and its bodies function, and why it is still worth going to the police, as well as what to do if your call is identified as “false.”
The project is implemented with the support of UNHCR Ukraine, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Ukraine.
